Rihanna vs. Chris Brown: It Goes Down in the IG Comments

Rihanna had a wild, wild, look on Instagram, and even though it’s not his birthday, Chris Brown sure wanted the cake.

The Bajan recording artist posted two pictures of herself on Instagram at the Aura Experience Crop Over festival in Barbados Monday. The post, which fans applauded and praised, caught the attention of one controversial figure in the pop star’s life, her ex-boyfriend Brown.

Rihanna was decked out in carnival attire, complete with teal hair, feathers, and extravagant jewelry with a jewel-encrusted two-piece outfit, flaunting her curves. When Brown commented on her post with an emoji depicting looking eyes, fans of the pop princess did not take it so well.

Celebrities such as Drake, Rihanna’s ex, and Karreuche Tran, Brown’s ex, commented on Brown’s actions. According to the Hollywood Times, a source told the publication that Drake thought Brown’s attempt to win his ex back was sad, lonely and creepy.

Tran disagreed with the Canadian-born rapper. In an interview with TMZ, she sympathized with Brown, citing Rihanna’s curvier and thicker body.

Since Rihanna and Brown’s infamous altercation in 2009, which resulted in the latter assaulting the former, the pair has created controversy over their relationship. The two collaborated on the sexually charged remix of “Birthday Cake” and “Nobody’s Business” in 2012, followed by the infamous New York club brawl between Brown and Drake, and then their brief second relationship in 2013.
